DAY ONE - Arrive at Yangon, capital of Myanmar, and get picked up at the airport and taken to your hotel.  Dinner and an opportunity to get to know each other.

Day TWO - Yangon - 9am workshop for beginner and intermediate level photographers (optional). In the afternoon we will go on a photowalk of the centre and stroll around the side streets to catch some interesting shots in the late afternoon Sun.

Day THREE - Yangon- After breakfast, we will head to arguably the most beautiful Buddhist temple in Asia, the 2,500 year old Shwedagon Pagoda, where there will be plenty of opportunities to take photos of this religious wonder of the world and the rituals and practices of pilgrims and monks alike. Later in the day we will catch a flight to Bagan.

DAY FOUR- Bagan - An early morning start at a high rise observation centre for sunrise photos of the Temples of Bagan, an ancient UNESCO world heritage site that consists of over 2,000 temples dating from the ninth century onwards. Hot air balloons over the temples make the sunrise shots even more impressive! Late afternoon, we will explore some of the temples on the ground by e-bike or minivan (depending on your preference).

DAY FIVE - Bagan - After breakfast, we will spend a whole day exploring the temples by e-bike or minivan (depending on your preference).

DAY SIX - Bagan - A free morning to catch-up on some sleep, enjoy the hotel's swimming pool or spa or to relax. After lunch, we will travel to Mandalay by minivan (approximately four hours). We will stop en-route if any interesting photo opportunities arise.

DAY SEVEN - Mandalay - Made famous by Rudyard Kipling's poem, Mandalay is the cultural centre of Myanmar with lots to see and do. We will start the day at Mandalay Hill to get some bird's eye view shots of the city before visiting an ancient wooden monastery and some Buddha statue factories. We will arrive late afternoon at U Bein Bridge, the world's oldest and longest teak bridge, for sunset shots.

DAY EIGHT - Mandalay - Today we will visit a number of temples in and around Mandalay, including a white temple close to a monastery with novice (young) monks. It's common for the novice monks to be seen playing or relaxing on the temple and if we're lucky we may be able to get some fantastic photos of them in action.

DAY NINE - Mandalay - After breakfast, we will travel to Inle Lake by minivan (approximately six hours) stopping en-route if any interesting photo opportunities arise.

DAY 10 - Inle Lake - A whole day photographing on the wonderfully enchanting Inle Lake, full of floating villages and gardens, wooden houses on stilts, handicraft shops, small cottage industries, magnificent temples and pagodas and a market where various ethnic groups from the region and surrounding hills congregate to sell their wares. Towards the end of the day and during the sunset golden hour we will have an opportunity to photograph the famous Inle Lake fishermen who steer their boats by wrapping one of their legs around the paddle.

DAY 11 - Bago - We will fly back to Yangon today (1hr 15 mins) and make an onwards journey by minivan or train (2hrs) to Bago, a less visited city in Myanmar full of many charming buddhist attractions.

DAY 12 - Bago - We will spend the day visiting several of Bago's attractions, some of which belong in a fairytale, before making the 2hr journey back to Yangon.

DAY 13 - Yangon - Check out of hotel at Yangon at midday. This marks the end of the tour. Opportunity to spend a day exploring some of the other attractions in the capital on your own before you embark on your onward travel.
