Absolutely loved the opportunity to learn and be creative. I was a complete beginner but the first day workshop to learn the basics of photography and my camera settings got me up on my feet pretty quickly. Nathan was always around when on location to answer lots of questions. Never imagined I'd make it to India but looking back it was easy.

I was keen to experience Angkor Wat, the number one landmark in the world, but I wanted to share the experience with others. I looked into a group tour of Angkor Wat and Cambodia but it didn't appeal to me. I bought a DSLR probably five years ago but never got round to working out the settings. I saw Nathan's tour and immediately booked. Experiencing Cambodia on and off the beaten track through photography was amazing. Cambodia is an incredible country. Nathan's a great teacher and guide, nothing was a problem!

I would describe myself as a photogrpahy enthusiast or semi-professional. I've been able to get some of my photos published. I was very interested in the Vietnam tour and the opportunity to practice some portrait, landscape and street photography without the worry of doing the research and organisation myself. I liked Nathan's on and off the beaten track itinerary and the photos he was able to get. The tour was perfectly managed, the accomodation, food and transport was great, and being in the right place at the right time with right light made the experience stress free. I can confirm it's true! Nathan's photography tours are more fun than fun! It was my first time to Asia and I was awestruck the moment I arrived in India. Just completely overwhelmed by the sights, sounds and smells of the place. I felt like I'd arrived on a different planet!!! It's so different from Russia. Culture shock! Yes! But I felt totally safe travelling as a solo female on Nathan's tour. Everything was clear and ran smoothly. The opportunity to learn a new skill and to have a real reason to interact with the locals with my camera (with a bit of help from Nathan) made this my most memorable and most treasured travel experience ever!! I want to do it again, again and again...

I really can't thank Nathan and his team enough for such an incredible experience in Myanmar. Travelling with someone who intimately knows the culture of the country and how to approach the people to get some shots was invaluable. I love travelling and I love photography, so a travel photography holiday seemed like the perfect combination. Although I've been taking photos for some years now, I still felt like a beginner in some ways, so I found Nathan's workshops extremely useful his guidance from in the field invaluable. I feel so excited and passionate about travel photography after my Vietnam trip that I'm saving up to invest in new equipment and I've started to use more sophisticated post processing software to get the best results.
